Loie Inez "Dobber" Collins, 69, of Lake City, Florida passed away Monday; March 10, 2014 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center. She was born in Lake City to the late J.D. & Loie "Christie" Waldron and has lived here in Columbia County all her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend that will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, George, Jim, John, and James and her sisters, Betty Jo & Marilyn.
She is survived by her sons, Julian S. (Peggy) Collins of Lake City, FL and Timothy D. (Carla) Collins of Branford, FL; 5 grandchildren, Julian, Caleb, Kyle, Trevor and Kinleigh Collins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday; March 13, 2014 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Bass officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service time (1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.).
