Linda Sue Ramirez, 75, of Lake City, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on October 5, 1945 to the late John and Lillian Carey. She has made the Lake City area her home since the 1970s and was one of ten children. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, sitting at Alligator Lake and "people watching" as they fished; she also enjoyed playing games on her phone. She is preceded in death by her children, Noffie Lee Carter, Jr., and Lillian Weaver Schnapp "Dill Carter".

She is survived by her children, Don Thomas (Kacy), Brenna Hewett (Chris), Brenda Lancaster (Andy) and Nikki Huggins (Steve); brother, George Carey (Brenda); and her sister, Francis Gray (Jerry). Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends also survive.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at a later date by her family. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME
