Linda Lorraine Hall, 70, of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the HCA Florida – Lake City Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born in Putnam, CT on November 6, 1953 to the late David Howe and Lorraine Moreira Howe. She has made Lake City her home since the early '90s, moving here from the Gainesville area. She was a lifelong artist, master sign painter and calligrapher, and was the owner of Brushworks in Ellisville for over 30 years. In her spare time, she loved to learn and expand her craft, spend time with her family, watch videos of her grandson, and care for her parrots and cats. She was a pillar of her local community, and will be mourned and missed by many.
She is survived by her children, David Hall (Aeli-Mai) of Boise, ID and Maria Hall of Lake City; her partner of over thirty years, Kenneth Bailey of Lake City; her grandson, Sebastion Hall of Boise, ID and her brother, David Howe (Deborah) of CT.
A celebration of life service for Ms. Hall will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
