Linda D. Barker, 60 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021.  She was born in Athens, Georgia and had been a resident of Lake City since 1984.  Mrs. Barker was raised in Valdosta, Georgia and was a graduate of Lowndes County High School class of 1978.  She loved going to the beach and watching the waves, but above all, she loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Moore.

Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Wilbur Barker, Lake City; her father, Tommy Moore, Valdosta, GA; her daughter, Patricia Goldstein (Michael), Jacksonville; her son, Russell M. Barker (Chealsea), Lake City; her sister, Judy Gatts, Valdosta, GA; and five grandchildren, Scotty, Christopher, Michael, Reagan and Kaylee.

A private graveside interment for Mrs. Barker will be held at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
