"Cookie", Lillian Z. Ward, age 83, died suddenly Tuesday, March 25th at LCH. Cookie was retired from the food services business at the University of Florida in Gainesville. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years, Maxie L Ward. She is also survived by her two daughters, Betina L Jennings of NY and Janice L Jennings of TN. She is preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Debra L Murray of FL. She is also survived by her grandson and his wife, Jamin and Randi Buck of FL, six other grandchildren as well as eighteen great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by three stepdaughters Tereasa Stalheim, Tammie Christian and Tina Alberts. She had seven step grandchildren and twelve step great grandchildren. All of the Gulf Coast of FL.

Cookie attended Tustennuggee Methodist Church in Fort White for more than 20 years. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends as well as gardening. She also loved reading, word puzzles, traveling, the beach, and going to Ichetucknee Springs and most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family. She had a giving heart and helped anyone she could. Cookie had a quick wit and she and her giving nature will be missed.
