Lillian Virginia Weaver Schnapp "Dill Carter", as she was known by many, 53, of Lake City, passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was born in Lodi, Ohio on August 21, 1968 and has lived in Lake City for 50 years. She worked for over thirteen years with the Florida Department of Corrections and a little over two years with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office before she retired. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, laying out in the sun, watching paranormal shows and soap opera's while enjoying a cup of unsweetened tea. She also enjoyed getting manicures & pedicures as well as spending time with her grandchildren and had just recently took up traveling. She is preceded in death by her father, Noffie Lee Carter, Sr., her brother, Noffie Lee Carter, Jr. and her beloved dog Minnie "mama".

She is survived by her husband of two years, John Schnapp; children, Joseph Roberson JR, Whittney Roberson (Tim Herringshaw) and Brittney Weaver (Dustin James); brothers, Nick Crawford (Stephanie) and Don Thomas; sisters, Brenna Hewett (Chris), Brenda Lancaster (Andy), Nikki Huggins (Steve) and Krysten Graham. Eight grandchildren, Keaton May, Brently Hitt, Braxon Herringshaw, Gunner Roberson, Jacey James, Jaylin James, Kynslee Herringshaw and Brenton Herringshaw, along with many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Dill will be conducted on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with James McDonald officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be considered being made to the Funeral Home in Dill's Memory to help with expenses.
