Mr. Leonard "Kimmy" Hall, 89 of Lake City, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City. He was born in Belo, West Virginia and was the last surviving child of 11 to the late Sam and Betty Marcum Hall. Mr. Hall had made Lake City his home since 1985 having lived most of his life in West Virginia. He was a retired Policeman from the Ceredo, West Virginia Police Department, a veteran of the US Army and was of the Protestant faith. Leonard was a charmer that enjoyed people, trucks, motorcycles, playing cards, raising chickens and farming. He had a story to share with everyone. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Cathy Hammock and Loletha Napier; and three grandchildren, Amanda Rucker, Brad Hunter and Brian Darby.
Survivors include two sons, Sam Hall (Tammy), Lake City, FL and Ronnie Hall (Alicia), Gainesville, FL; one daughter, Marsha Darby (Paul), Scottown, OH; two sons-in-law, Allen Hammock and Earnie Napier; eleven grandchildren, Shane Hammock, Shannon Cooper, Michele Martinez, Aaron Hall, Eric Hall, Misty Woodard, Cecelia Darby, Hunter Darby, Emma Banick, Anna Freeman and Ella Walls; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Delbarton, West Virginia.
