Leo Allen Brinkley, III, 55 of St. Augustine, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020.  He was born in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Leo Allen Brinkley, Jr. and Flora Mae McBride Brinkley.  Allen was raised in Lake City and was graduate of Columbia High School Class of 1983.  Allen then continued his education at the University of Florida and was a rabid "Gator" fan.  He enjoyed following sports, NASCAR and golfing.

Survivors include his brother, William B. "Brantley" Brinkley, Lake City; one nephew, Dilan B. Brinkley, Starke; several cousins and close friends also survive.

An informal gathering of friends and family will be Sunday, October 25, 2020, 2:00 PM at Huntsville Church off Lake Jeffrey Road.   Allen's ashes will be interred in the family lot at the church cemetery.
