Lashel Leigh Anne Norman, age 48, of Lake City, Florida, passed away on January 26, 2024 from Metastatic Colon Cancer. She was born on February 21, 1975, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Michael Robinson and the late Sherri Robinson. Lashel passed away at Haven Hospice Center in Lake City surrounded by her loving family and close friends. Lashel will be remembered as a loving mother, devoted wife, and hardworking individual. She had a caring nature and was an animal lover. Lashel had a passion for art and was a true child of the eighties. She adored "The Wizard of Oz" and had a great love for music. In her career, Lashel was a shop owner at Phoenix Electronics and also worked as a phlebotomist at Lake City Medical Center. She was known for her dedication and professionalism in both roles. Outside of work, Lashel enjoyed various hobbies, including karaoke, crafting, shopping, traveling, going to the movies, and visiting Disney and Universal Studios. She had a deep appreciation for music and collected records. Lashel is survived by her husband, John Norman; Daughter, Kimberlynne Norman (William); her father, Michael Robinson (Anne); and her aunt, Genie Norman. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sherrie Robinson, and her grandparents, Bill and Doris Robinson. A celebration of Lashel's life will be held on Monday, February 5th, 2024, at 2pm in the Gateway Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel in Lake City, Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Haven Hospice - Suwannee Valley Care Center, 6037 W.
