Mrs. Lacretia E. Cooper, 57 of Lake City, died Saturday evening, September 24, 2005 at North Florida Regional Hospital in Gainesville.
A native of Marianna, Florida she had lived in Lake City since 1972 coming from Sebring, Florida Mrs. Cooper taught school at the Kindergarten Center and Summers Elementary for 19 years. She enjoyed doing crafts and working in her garden. Mrs. Cooper was devoted to her family and church, she was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cooper is survived by her husband Elwyn Cooper, Lake City, one son, Ethan Cooper (Brandi), Eatonton, GA, one daughter, Sandy Bramel (Mitch), Milton, FL, one brother, James Elmore (Barbara), Cottondale, FL, two sisters, Lenora Lipford, Marianna, FL and Patricia Mims (Max), Jacksonville, FL. Five grandchildren, Stacy, Mallory, Ethan Cole, Ella Caroline and Kellcy also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Cooper will be conducted on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Brown and Bro. Herman Hampton officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Lake City, FL. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Wednesday afternoon at the funeral home.
