Kimberly "Kim" Edge Green, 56, of Lake City, passed away on Friday morning, September 26, 2025 at the HCA Florida – Lake City Hospital. She was born in Conyers, GA on April 18, 1969 and has made Lake City her home since 1986. Kimberly had a kind and giving heart, and absolutely loved being with her family and friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing softball when she was younger, and spending time with her dogs. She is preceded in death by her mother, Kathryn Pickens Edge.

She is survived by her daughter, Courtney Green of Live Oak; father, Randall Edge (Jo Ann) of Lake City; siblings, Dawn Shaw (Lonnie) of Fort Valley, GA and Shayne Edge (Cindy) of Lake City, Amber Cothran of Lake City and Joey Edge (Lynsey) of Lake City; along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.

A memorial service for Mrs. Green will be conducted on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 5:00 P.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 4:00 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home.
