Keri Lynn Campbell, 56 of Lake City, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, October 9, 2022.  Keri was born in Jacksonville, Florida and been a longtime resident of Lake City.  Keri was the Sunshine of Our Lives.  She relished the simple pleasures of life and lit up a room with her beautiful smile.  Keri cherished her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with family and friends.  She had such a fun-loving spirit and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.  She especially loved cutting and styling hair for many of her family and friends.  A few of Keri's many wonderful characteristics included her compassion, fun-loving spirit and her hard work ethic.  We will always remember her and all of the good she brought into our lives.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Tim Newton; her three children, Brandon Shimmons, Britney Shimmons and Mariah Protiva; mother and step-father, Joyce Landon Morrell and James Morrell; father, Harold Eugene Huffman; brother and sister-in-law, Timothy Eugene Huffman and Julie Huffman; sisters, Michelle Yates, Ashely McKinney and Dawn Reed; 7 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of life service will be conducted on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel.  A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
