Kenneth Ray Harden, 62, passed away on Monday, August 8th, 2016 at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville. Kenny was a lifelong resident of Lake City and the son of the late Robert Lee and Pauline [Wheeler] Harden. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend, who enjoyed watching Westerns (John Wayne was his favorite), searching flea markets for hidden treasure, and was a lifelong Florida Gator. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Paula D. Harden and his caring wife of 36 years, Sandra Harden (2008).

Survivors include his son, Kenneth Ray Harden Jr. of Lake City, FL; daughter, Wendy R. (Randy) Bonds of Fort White, FL; brothers, Robert N. (Liz) Harden of Waxahachie, TX and Gary W. (Peggy) Harden of Kingsland, GA; sisters, Diana (Wayne) Snelgrove & Ola Carol Walker both of Fort White, FL and Carrie G. (Ronald) Holloway of Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Josh, Chelsea and Justin Pittman & Sabrina Dumas; 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted, on Friday, August 12th, 2016, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 3596 South US Hwy 441, Lake City, Florida. 32025. (386) 752-1954, with Dr. Robert N. Harden officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening, August 11th, 2016, from (6:00 pm until 8:00 pm) at the funeral home.
