Kenneth T. Croft, 82 of High Springs, passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 at Shands at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He was born in Delray Beach, Florida to the late R.C. Croft and Mayme Louise Strange Croft. Mr. Croft had made his home in the High Springs and Fort White communities for the past 33 years and retired from Bell South with over 30 years of employment. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Elim Baptist Church in Fort White. Mr. Croft was a Master Mason and member of Cherry Hill Lodge #12 in Fort White. In Masonry, Mr. Croft held many offices including Past Master of Cherry Hill Lodge #12 in Fort White, Past District Deputy Grandmaster in 2000 of Free and Accepted Masons and served as a Past Worthy Patron of the Santa Fe Order of the Eastern Star. He was a Life Benefactor of the NRA, enjoyed hunting, collecting antiques, going to yard sales and estate auctions and enjoying his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Dennis Croft; and his brother in law, John Gloskowski.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Jean S. Croft, High Springs; one son, Bryan T. Croft (Tina) Chattahoochee; his daughter, Linda Croft Rodriguez (Roberto), High Springs; his sister, Bettye Gloskowski, Fort White; four grandchildren, Kenny Croft (Keisley), Brittany Thompson (Chris) , Michael Mayo and Shelbi Rabon; and two great-grandchildren, Kason Croft and Nautica Thompson.
Graveside funeral services for Mr. Croft will be conducted on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fort White Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Interment will follow.
