Kathy Darlene Todd, 61 of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Lake City Medical Center.  She was born in Lake City to the late Archie Lee Brown and Audrey Cason Brown.  Mrs. Todd was a lifelong resident of Lake City, graduate of Columbia High School class of 1978 and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.  Kathy was currently working for MHM Professionals at the Columbia Correctional Institute.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, George F. Todd, Lake City; her son, Joshua Todd, Lake City; her daughter, Cassie Lord (Tim), Smil, Albania; two sisters, Debra Brown (Percy) and Wanda Olin, all of Lake City; and three grandchildren, Cloey Todd, Lake City, and Kinsley and Paisley Lord both of Smil, Albania.

Funeral services for Mrs. Todd will be conducted on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Norman officiating.  Interment will follow at Philippi Baptist Church Cemetery in southern Columbia County.  Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the church.
