Mrs. Katherine Creel, 83, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2016 in the Suwannee Valley Care Center (Haven Hospice). Katherine was born in Columbia County, Florida, the daughter of the late Amon G. and Alpha A. [Dicks] Robinson and had remained here all her life. She attended Mason City and was on the school, Girls Basketball Team.  Katherine was a devoted member of the Lake City Church of God and the Riverview Baptist Bible Circle. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who gave her love, time and self to her Lord and Savior and her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, R.B., Leroy, Leamon, L.W. and Edward Robinson; sisters, Eugenia "Genie" and Mae Willie Robinson and Annie Pearl Robinson-Allinder; her caring husband of 56 years, Ernest Preacley Creel (2007).

Survivors include her sons, Michael Preacley (Linda) Creel of Jacksonville, FL, and Jeffrey Allen (Karen) Creel of Fleming Island, FL;  daughters, Thedas (Eric) Creel-Dukes of Duluth, GA, and Jill Shuri (Ray) Creel-McMullen of Clearwater, FL; brother, Carl Robinson and sister, Grace Johnson both of Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Julie Creel-Hendricks, Tonya Creel-Shaw, Emily Creel, Jacob Creel, Erica Dukes-Wooding, Jeffrey Creel "Scotty", Alexandra "Belle" Creel, Brandon Preacley Creel, Kay Sahagian, Christopher Sahagian; great grandchildren, Braedon and Jordon Shaw, Mike, Jason, and Taylor Hendricks, and Johnny Creel Dooling.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm, on Sunday, May 22, 2016, at the Lake City Church of God with Pastor Caroll Lee officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Saturday evening, May 21, 2016, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
