Karen A. (Sykes) Dorman, 80, of Foley, AL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 24, 2025, at home with her beloved daughter by her side. Born in Tampa, FL, Karen grew up in Branford, FL, and later resided in Lake City, FL, where she dedicated over 30 years of service to General Electric. In her later years, she found fulfillment working as an aide in an assisted living home in Hiwassee, GA, where she brought comfort and joy to those in need. She had a kind and giving heart, always ready to help others.

Karen enjoyed reading, shopping, and watching her favorite soap operas. She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. Sykes and M. Kathryn (Gilley) Sykes; her son, Robert Collins; and her brother, William E. Sykes Jr. She is survived by her loving daughter, Alicia F. (Dorman) Endsley; her sister, Paulette (Sykes) Shinholster; her brother, John Sykes; and her cherished grandchildren, Tara, Jaden, and Gracie Endsley.

Arrangements are being handled by Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Lake City, FL. A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Branford, FL, on March 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM.
