Mrs. Kaitlynne Danielle Law, 35, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at the HCA Florida North Florida Hospital unexpectedly. She is the daughter of Rebecca and Doug Godbey and Robert and Sherry Sheppard. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Corbett Horne and paternal grandfather Melvin Sheppard, Sr. Kaitlynne is a lifelong resident of Lake City, FL and enjoyed spending time with her family and being the greatest momma to Lolliegh Cora Law, she was also involved with coaching Ft. White Cheerleading team for several years, baking, flowers, going to the river and the beach and watching the birds on her porch. Kaitlynne was known as the sweetest person in the world, and everyone who knew her loved her.

Kaitlynne is survived by her husband Dwayne Law, and Daughter Lolliegh Cora Law and one son Landry Kade Law, all of Branford, FL; her parents Rebecca and Doug Godbey, Branford, FL; and Robert and Sherry Sheppard, Lake City, FL. one sister Mallorie K. Godbey (Samantha Daley) Branford, FL; Mother and Father in Law Tina and DeWitt Law, Branford, FL and her sister and brother in law Brooke and Brent, Lake City, FL. maternal grandmother, Sandra Horne, Branford, FL; and paternal grandmother, Gail Sheppard Lake City, FL; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Kaitlynne will take place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jason Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
