June McKnight, 80, died on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center. She was born in Ellisville, Florida, to the late Earl & Roxie Mikell.
She was a loving wife, mother, and friend. She enjoyed playing golf, was a good homemaker, and an active, faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lake City. She also was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution as well as the Daughters of the Nile.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Edward "Mac" McKnight of Lake City, FL; son, David G. McKnight (Janet) of Hiram, GA.
Pallbearers: Cleve Farnell, Mark Kirby, Tim Kirby, John McKnight, Tommy McKnight & Bobby Brewin.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on March 23, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake City with Dr. Roy Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Farnell Cemetery in Ellisville, Florida. Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening, March 22, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
