Julia Ann Taber, 73, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Lake City Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born in Miami, Florida to the late Allen & Bernice Whitney, but had lived in Columbia County for the past twelve years.

Survivors include her sons, Mark (Michelle) Clouser and James Clouser; daughters, Felicita (Allan) Kelley and Karin (Kevin) Fitz all of Pennsylvania; brothers, Everett ( Jo Ann) Whitney of Lake City, FL, John L. (Wendy) Whitney of Rockledge, FL and honorary brother, Tom Brincefield of Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Misty (Brian) Reece of TN and Christopher Clouser of PA also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 with Dr. Rodney Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service time.
