Juanita Inez Harrington, 72, passed away on Saturday; June 15, 2013 at Shands UF Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She was born in Watertown, Florida to Inez "Zeigler" Davis and the late Lewis Franklin Davis and remained here most of her life. She was a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother whose love and dedication of service to her family flowed over to others, during her nursing career. Privately she liked to read, cook and travel, enjoyed being outdoors near the water and loved shopping and animals.
In 2000, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Rudy Harrington.
She is survived by her daughters, Taren H.(Dolph) Myrick of Albemarle, NC and Rhonda H. McDonald of Lake City, FL; mother, Inez Davis of Lake City, FL; brother, Stephen Lewis (Glen) Davis of Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Cody, Austin, Dillon Myrick and Lauren McDonald; great grandchildren, Kaylin Lee.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday; June 19, 2013, in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Lonnie Johns officiating.
Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday evening June 18, 2013 from 5:00 p.m.- until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
