Juanita Barfuss, 67, of Lake City, passed away on July 25, 2021 at Shands UF in Gainesville after an extended illness. She was born August 12, 1953 to the late B.B. and Edna Lane Williams in Live Oak, FL. She was one of twelve kids. She spent most of her life in Live Oak and Lake City. She dedicated her life to her family and pets. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her vacations to the mountains with her husband and her dog Rascal and belated Little Bit. She enjoyed her flowers and loved the color purple. She was very sentimental over her keepsakes and her pictures.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Marden "Buddy" Barfuss, she was the love of his life; two sons, Marty Barfuss (Eddie) and Timmy Barfuss; two daughters, Jennifer Terrell (Tim) and Rebeckah Willis (John); life-long friend, Gloria Stevens; two sisters, Edna Rodgers (Joe) and Debbie Wynn. Nine grandchildren, Jenna, Kayli, John (Boo), Jerry, Timmy (Lit. Man), Tony, Kalia, Martyna (Tyna), Mathew (Bubba) and eleven great grandchildren also survive. Her dog Rascal was always by her side, and watching over her as well.
She will be greatly missed, she was the love of our lives. Until we meet again! We love you! Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
