J.M. Norris, 66, died on March 2, 2020 in Gainesville, FL.  He was born in Lake City, Florida and graduated from Columbia High School.  He was employed by Fruit Growers Express-CSX as a carman and safety inspector.  He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen-TCU Lodge 6508.

He is survived by his children Holly and her husband James, Joey and his wife Chrissy and Jessica  and her husband Kenny, 8 grandchildren, Courtney, Brantley, Hance, Tripp, Rylee Alana, Kai, & Leilani as well as 2 brothers, Wayne and his wife Ann, Harold, &  a sister Judy along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 11:00 am at Gateway Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Lake City.
