Mr. Jonathan B. Hardee, 25, of Lake City passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 from heart complications as a result of Marfans Syndrome. Born in Gainesville to Scott and Shannon Brock Hardee, he had been a resident of Lake City for his entire life and graduated from Ft. White High School. Jonathan was a devoted to his family and they meant everything to him. He loved playing the guitar, working on computers, could fix anything, fishing, NASCAR, the gator nationals, playing video games with his wife, he was a devoted Gator Fan, and was great with kids.
Jonathan is survived by his beloved wife who he married on April 6, 2015, Elizabeth Hardee of Lake City; mother, Shannon Parra; father, Scott Hardee; step daughter, Lily; sisters, Jordan and Amber Hardee, and Kaila and Gabriella Parra; grandparents, Ralph and Burma Sue Hardee, and James and Mary Brock, all of Lake City.
Funeral services for Jonathan will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marfans Foundationwww.marfan.org.
