Johnnie Fowler Daugherty, 86, of Lake City, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at her home.  She was born in Tampa, Florida to the late Lavon and Marie Koon Fowler.  Mrs. Daugherty was a lifelong resident of Lake City and was of the Southern Baptist faith.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking and loved her animals.  Mrs. Daugherty was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she was preceded in death by her husband, W.K. "Bill" Daugherty.

Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie Barshay, Lake City; her granddaughter, Carlie Barshay, Lake City; and her cousins, Joe and Deanna Chassereau, Susan Goss Hitt, Aurelia Stover, Pat and Mike Borden and Rodney and Regina Koon.

Private services will be conducted at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Haven Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center at 6037 W US Hwy 90, Lake City, FL 32055.
