Mr. John Tanner Williamson, Jr. 64, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, following an illness. He is the son of the late John Tanner Williamson, Sr. John is preceded in death by his step-father James Lones and one niece. He had made Lake City his home for the past twenty years after moving here from Portsmouth, Virginia, John was of the Baptist faith and he enjoyed fishing with his three sons, he enjoyed whitetail deer hunting and turkey hunting with his two brothers. He liked four-wheel drive trucks, going to the mountains, reading his bible, cooking on the grill, and feeding people when he was cooking on the grill, he was a very loved man and a loved father by his three sons. John served his country in the United States Navy following high school.

John is survived by his mother Linda "Lyn" Lones, Lake City, FL; three sons Eric, Ryan, and Kyle Williamson all of Portsmouth, Virginia, two brothers Steven C. Williamson, Orange Park, FL, and Kevin Troy Williamson, Jacksonville, FL, two nephews, and one niece.

A graveside service for John Tanner Williamson, Jr. will be conducted on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lake City, FL.
