Mr. John Raymond Escobar, 58, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Shands of UF in Gainesville, FL following an extended illness. John is preceded in death by his father Timoteo A. Escobar, Jr.  John had made lake city his home for the past thirty years after moving here from Lake County, FL. he was of the Pentecostal Faith, and enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, reading the Bible, and spending time with his family, and was an avid Florida Gator Fan.

John survived by his wife of fifteen years Rachael Escobar, Lake City, FL his mother Junita Escobar, lake City, FL one stepson, and one stepdaughter, and two daughters and three brothers David and Ernest Escobar both of Lake City, FL, Timothy Escobar (Terry) Branford, FL. one sister Marie Escobar, Johnson City, TN, four grandchildren and a host of extended family also survive.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Monday, November 25, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.
