Joanne Marie Clark, 76 of Lake City, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Lake City Medical Center.  She was born in New York City, New York to the late John and Eugenia Nestarek Bednarek.  Mrs. Clark had made Lake City her home since 1974 having moved here from Greenlawn, New York.  She was a graduate of Huntington High School and worked in her younger years as a model and in banking.  Mrs. Clark enjoyed reading, sewing, knitting, cooking and painting artwork in her spare time.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Bruce Bednarek, who was shot down in 1972 while serving as an Air Force Pilot during Vietnam.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Edward "Pauly" Clark, Lake City; two sons, Richard Jason Ordaye (Michelle Marie), High Springs and Jamie Vincent Clark, Lake City; and three grandchildren, Jayden Alexis Ordaye and Maverick Gunner Ordaye both of High Springs and Triston Clark, Lake City.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Max Bass of True Life Apostolic Church officiating.  Interment will follow at Memorial Cemetery.  Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
