Ms. Joan A. Lippi, 84, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL. She is the daughter of the late Alfonso and Olga Carbone DiLascio and the widow of the late Carl Lippi. Ms. Joan had made Suwannee County her home for the past forty-seven years after moving here from Hollywood, FL. She was a member of San Juan Catholic Church in Branford, FL, and loved spending time with her family and friends. Those were her happiest moments. She leaves behind her beloved children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other caring family members and dear friends.
Ms. Joan is survived by her son Paul A. Lippi (Sarah) Lake City, FL; two daughters Beverly J. Miller (Marvin) Kingsland, GA, and Deborah J. Haskett (Gene) Wilmington, NC. Seven grandchildren, Gemma Mizzoni- Stinson, Ashley Odom, Joseph Mizzoni, Audrey Phillips, Carlee Hemphill, Ross Haskett, and Paul D. Lippi. Ten great-grandchildren also survive, Triston, Ashton, Kimber, Halle, Jayden, Sophia, Anderson, Emerson, Cy, and Enzo.
A funeral Mass will be conducted on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. in the Epiphany Catholic Church with Father Bob Hoffman officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service at Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Lake City, FL.
