Jewell Fair, 81, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Health Center of Lake City. She was born in Jacksonville, Alabama to the late John and Beulah (Key) Webb and moved to Lake City 45 years ago. She was a long time employee of Morrell's Furniture and a faithful member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God who devoted her time to God and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Norris Webb, sister, Faye Jackson and her husband of 52 years,
Andrew "Jack" Fair.
Survivors include her sons, Jackie Fair, Michael (Danielle) Fair, and Ricky (LeAnne) Fair; daughters, Judy Fair and Alice "Cooky" Altman all of Lake City, FL; brothers, William Webb and Jimmy Webb both of Jacksonville, AL; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., on Friday; March 15, 2013 in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Pastor Lowell Van Vleck officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday evening, March 14, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
