Mrs. Jewel H. Pueschel, 93, of Lake City passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Haven Suwannee Valley Care Center following a lengthy illness. A lifelong resident of Lake City, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Mary Ellis Huchingson. She was preceded in death by her husband John Pueschel, her sons Jimmy and Doyle, and brothers, C.D., Ernest, and Homer Huchingson. Mrs. Pueschel enjoyed attending Church at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, taking photos, sewing, being outside, and reading her Bible and other books.

Mrs. Pueschel is survived by her sister, Vennie Yates of Atlanta, GA; 5 granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, May 16, 2017 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Elder Herman Griffin officiating. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center, 6037 W. US HWY 90, Lake City, FL 32055
