Jerry Jerome Adams, 84, of Jacksonville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, April 28, 2021 at the Cypress Village Nursing Home after an extended illness. He was born in Georgia on October 17, 1936 to the late Jerry Lester Adams and Louise Busby Adams. He worked in sales for over 36 years with the Foxboro Company and AMJ Company, retiring from both companies. He was a United States Navy Veteran and a member of the Ortega United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as communicating with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Anthony Adams and his brother, Jimmy Adams.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Joyce Brown Adams; sons, Andrew Adams and Lance Adams; sisters, Annette Daugherty (Jimmy) and Susan Touchton (Gary); grandson, Jakob Adams along with many extended family and friends also survive.

A funeral service for Mr. Adams will be conducted on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the Corinth Church (US HWY 441 North) with Pastor Art McClellan officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
