Jerome E. Scheib, born March 24, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA, passed from this world on December 29, 2021. He was the loving husband and best friend of Elizabeth Mary Scheib, his wife of 45 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Cynthia J. Diaz, grandson Robert Jerome Diaz and his wife Stephanie Osborne, grandson Christopher W. Diaz, along with his great-grandchildren Alex Osborne and Kaylee Osborne. He was predeceased by his parents Elmer Jerome and Margaret Hazelett and his sister Ruth. He was a graduate of Staunton Military Academy and Penn State University.

Jerry was active in the American Legion Post 277, Boca Raton, Past Master of Boca-Delray Lodge 171, F.&A.M., a member of Boca Raton B.P.O.E. and the Fraternal Order of Orioles #199, along with other fraternal and charitable organizations.  He loved and took joy in his friends and family above all else. He will be missed by many. He lived respected and has died regretted.
