Jennifer Christine Faulstich, 50, of Lake City, passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 in Lake City after a sudden illness. She was born in Garland, Texas on July 9, 1975; and has made Lake City her home for the last twelve years. She was "the general" at home, creating a safe haven for her family. To be "home" with her meant the external world fell to the wayside. No matter the hardship, she was always present to make it better. Her greatest joy was loving and encouraging her children. She cherished moments of morning coffee and Bible study with her husband, singing with her daughter, listening to her sons' band, and embracing her grandchildren as she bonded with her eldest daughter through motherhood.

Jennifer was an eccentric, free-spirited soul whose undeniable presence will be carried eternally with her family. She was the definition of an artist—Jennifer loved music, dance, and drawing. She had a natural knack for decoration and remodeling, with her creativity evident from ornaments that decorate the house today. Remodeling and indoor/outdoor design were also part of her brilliant portfolio, as she was always eager to share her next plans for a space with the family. Jennifer was a visionary, with the ambition to back it.

Jennnifer was a devout Christian, with a limitless love for God and her family. She was never afraid to tell others the Good News of Jesus Christ, and the love God had for them. Those who were so honored as to meet her loved her unconditionally. She was a member of the Dwelling Place here in Lake City, where she served on the Worship Team.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 28 years, Werner Faulstich of Lake City; mother and father, Donald Fields, Jr. and Nancy Fields; sons, Nathan Faulstich, Andrew Faulstich, Nehemiah Faulstich and Austen Faulstich; daughters, Alexandra Gonzalez (Daniel) and Amberlyn Faulstich. One brother, Donald "Donnie" Fields, Jr.; along with two grandchildren, Daniel Gonzalez, Jr. and Nicholas Gonzalez, also survive.

A Celebration of Life service for Mrs. Faulstich will be conducted on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in The Dwelling Place of Lake City, 1571 E Duval St, Lake City, FL 32055, with Pastors Margaret & Ralph Minster officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation beginning at 10:30 A.M. prior to the service at the church. Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
