Jeffry "Jeff" D. Hunt, 70, of Branford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 6, 2024, surrounded by his family after an extended illness. He was born in Columbia South Carolina on February 7, 1954 to the late James William Hunt, Sr. and Alma Ruth Owens. He worked for a little over five years with the Suwannee County School District as a School Bus Driver and was of the Baptist Faith. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing his guitar. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Chris Daniel; and his brothers, Robin and Johnny Hunt.

He is survived by his loving wife of fifteen years, Debra Hunt; his bonus sons, Sean Fletcher (Samantha) and Brandon Fletcher; brothers, James Hunt, Jr. (Debra) and Gary Hunt (Rosie); and his sister, Beverly Hunt McCoy (Nile). He is also survived by his five grandchildren; his special niece, Michelle Taylor (Ross); and brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Kay Daniel; and his father-in-law, Charlie Daniel.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction and care of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME.
