Jeffrey T. Vega, 43 of Yulee, passed away on December 8, 2022 at the Baptist Heart Hospital in Jacksonville. Jeff was born in Fort Polk, Louisiana and had made the Jacksonville area his home for many years.  Jeff was currently working as an area manager for Amazon and was very passionate about his work and well respected among his colleagues.  He was an avid Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Volunteer football fan.  Jeff loved nothing more than spending time with his entire family.  Jeff loved everyone in his life and fought very hard to stay with us but God decided it was his time to be pain free and to come home.  His contagious laughter and sarcasm will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Heather Bennett Vega, Yulee; his parents, Eugene and Suk Cha Vega, Atlanta, GA; his sister, JoAnn Cantos (John) and children, Grace and Asher; three brothers, Myong Vega and children, YiSule, Jessica, Anna, Hanna and Alex, Chung Vega and children, Andrew and Angelina and Kyong Han and children Joey and Janice; mother and father in  law, Connie and Ronnie Bennett, Lake City; sister-in-law, Lori Berry (Vernon) and children Addie Berry and Travis Berry (Amanda) all of Lake City, and Stefanie Jackson (Keith) and children Morgan Nelson (Brant), Samantha Jackson (Nic Tyre) and Kade Jackson all of Lake City; extended family, D.J., Shirley, Cailey and Sophia; and his fur babies, Simba and Knox.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Dr. Billy Young officiating.  Interment will follow at Wellborn Cemetery, Wellborn, Florida.  A time of visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
