On July 27th 2021 Mrs. Jeanne Rehberg-Morgan born in Lake City Florida, on Jan 20th 1928. (a Gold Star Mother), Loving wife, and mother to 3 children passed away In her hometown at the age of 93. Preceded in death by: her parents Jessie Quinn Howell and Mignon Leslie, two brothers; Marvin Howell and Robert Howell, her son Private First-Class James Herbert Rehberg, her late husband Charles Herbert Rehberg, and her oldest daughter Kathy Rehberg-Russell.
Jeanne Howell Rehberg remarried to Charles Andrew Morgan at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake City, Fl. on Oct 18th, 2002.
Mrs. Jeanne H. Rehberg graduated from Columbia High School in Lake City, Fl; class of 1945, and from the Florida Barber and Beauty College in Jacksonville, Fl; class of 1951. While working in salons for twenty-three years, she won numerous hairstyling competitions and was a Master Judge.
After that she was hired by the Lake City Community College in Feb of 1968 to develop their cosmetology program, lesson plans, and teaching techniques. In addition to holding several positions throughout the years she was also elected as an outstanding educator; with a Master's Degree in Vocational Technical Education from Florida State University; class of 1970's, where she was a member of the IOTA Lambda Fraternity.
In all she had twenty-eight years' experience as an educational instructor before being hired as a National Consultant for many Cosmetology Schools where she helped develop their Cosmetology Programs; which included writing their performance-based curriculums. She was also a Past President of the Florida Cosmetology Association in 1978-1980 and the Florida Cosmetology School Association in 1988. During that year and consecutively for three years after, she also served as a Florida State Examiner for Cosmetology Instructor Trainees with the Department of Professional Regulations and proceeded to train many Cosmetology instructors.
Mrs. Rehberg was also appointed by Governor Robert Martinez to serve on the State Board of Independent Postsecondary Vocational, Technical, Trade, and Business Schools where she served as Chairperson from July 1994 - Jun 1995. In 1994 the Commissioner of Education; Douglas Lee Jamerson Jr. appointed her as a member of the State Postsecondary Review Entity Committee for developing policy and standards, along with appointing her to serve as a member of the States Postsecondary Review Entity Advisory Council in 1995. Also, in 1995 Governor Lawton Chiles re-appointed her to the S. B. I. P. V. T. T. B. S. for the term of Nov 95 - June 99. During her time, she was awarded many accommodations, accolades, and awards recognizing her contributions to the field of Cosmetology.
Mrs. Rehberg finally retired from Cosmetology in 2001 after Closing Rehberg's Hair Styling Academy due to the death of her husband Charles H. Rehberg, where she was formerly the co-owner, administrative director, and instructor.

For the past eighteen years Mrs. Jeanne Rehberg-Morgan and her husband Charles A. Morgan had become very involved with the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake City, Fl. In her time there she served in many areas of the Church: as Chairman of the Administration Counsel, in the "Ladies, Youth, and Childrens ministries," as well as forming a knitting group "the Shawl ministry." She loved deep sea fishing, needlework, reading, playing cards, and going on the United Methodist Church Women's Retreat in Leesburg, Florida.
She is survived by Charles A. Morgan, one daughter: Charis Rehberg-DeLuca, one granddaughter: Tracie Rivera, and four grandsons: Travis Rehberg, Frank Berman, James Berman, and Nathan Stoddard. Two great grandchildren: Jonathan Statham and Shelby Statham. Two great-great grandchildren: Madelyn Statham and Jayden Rigsby.

The funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday Aug 16th at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church; 1275 SW McFarlane Ave, Lake City, Fl, 32025.
Followed by a graveside service at the Memorial Cemetery across from the Florida National Guard Armory; 409 NW Lake Jeffery Rd, Lake City, Fl, 32055.
