Jayden Alexander Britton-Drew

Jayden Alexander Britton-Drew, 21 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026. Jayden was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and moved to Lake City at a young age. He was a 2022 graduate of Columbia High School and was part of the weightlifting, wrestling and the swim team. Jayden furthered his education at Florida Gateway College earning his EMT and Firefighting certificates and was currently working with the Lake City Fire Department. Jayden loved his cats, George, Buttercup and Mala, mentoring to young boys and his favorite color was yellow. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie Alan Drew and Laura Ra’Chell Britton Drew.

Survivors include his sister, Rozlynn Britton Drew; his uncle, Eric Britton; cousin, Zoie Britton; and many extended family and friends.

Funeral services for Jayden will be conducted on Monday, November 2, 2026 at 3:00 PM in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Dr. Mike Tatem of Parkview Baptist Church officiating. A time of visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
