Jaxson Lamir Moore

Jaxson Lamir Moore, passed away tragically on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. He is the son of the late Ashia La’Shai Moore, and was deeply loved by his soon to be mom, and his entire family. He is preceded in death by his Maternal Great-Great-Grandparents, Marcella B. Smith & W.R.Smith; Paternal Great-Great-Grandparents, Annie Moore and Manson Moore; and his Maternal Step-Great-Great-Grandfather, Grover “Buddy” Cheshire. He is also preceded in death his loving and caring mother, Ashia La’Shai Moore.

He is survived by his grandmother Krystal Campbell of Lake City; grandfather, Aundris Moore, Sr. of Baker County; uncle, Aundris Moore, Jr. of Lake City and his aunt, Asianna Moore of Lake City. He is also survived by his Maternal Great-Memaw, Rhonda Cheshire of Fort White and her Maternal Great-Grandfather, Robert Campbell of Louisiana; and his Maternal Great-Grandmother, Sheron Taylor of Lake City. Many extended family members also survive.

A funeral service for Jaxson will be conducted on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel with Pastor Cagney Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 5:00-7:00 P.M. on Friday evening, September 18, 2026 at the funeral home.
