Janice Elaine Revels, 77, of Fort White, FL, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on Monday, October 28, 2024. Since her birth on May 22, 1947, to her parents, Howard and Ora Terry, Janice was a life-long resident of Fort White. A cheerleader and senior class treasurer at Fort White High School, she was valedictorian of her graduating class in 1965. Janice was a devoted servant to her community through her work and volunteerism, serving as the school secretary at Fort White Elementary School and as Town Clerk for the Town of Fort White for decades.  She was also a longtime volunteer at her church, Fort White Baptist Church, assisting with the church bulletin and a sharing her faithful love of the Lord through her piano playing talents.

A loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Janice held dear all of those familial roles. Her family always felt cherished by her. Shopping, decorating, cooking, and spending time with loved ones were pastimes she enjoyed. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Kenneth Revels; her sister, Margaret Martin (Gene); her son, Philip Fowler (Heather); her grandsons, Teague and Blake; and precious cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; sister, Mary Emma; and brother, Roger.

Funeral services for Ms. Revels will be conducted on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 12:00 Noon at Fort White Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Fort White Cemetery.  A time of visitation with the family will be held two hours prior to the service at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
