Janie Faye Mauldin Willis, 81 of Branford, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.  Mrs. Willis was born in Worth County, Georgia to the late Willie and Gladys Hartsfield Mauldin.  She had made the Branford area her home since 1978 having moved here following the retirement from the Army of her late husband of 51 years, Mr. Randy Willis.  Mrs. Willis was of the Baptist faith she enjoyed cooking meals for her loved ones, sewing and quilting blankets for her grandchildren and many others, traveling and volunteering at Solaris Healthcare of Lake City teaching sewing and quilting.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband; one daughter, Barbara Willis; one brother, Wilford Mauldin; and two daughters-in-law, Neva Willis and Karen Willis.

Survivors include her children, Randall Willis, Yoncalla, OR, Gary Willis, Branford, Willie Willis (Donna), Branford, Jimbo Willis (Sherry), Lake City, Theresa Willis, Branford and Belinda Montgomery (Mike), Lake Butler; her sister, Bonnie Bass, Trenton, FL; two brothers, Donald Mauldin and Lamar Mauldin both of High Springs; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Willis will be conducted on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Siloam Methodist Cemetery with Pastor Randy Henderson officiating.
