Janet Rosbury Babinec went to be with the Lord on July 20, 2020.

Janet was born on July 19, 1948 in Lansing, Michigan to her parents, Oscar and Margaret Rosbury. Janet was a resident of Columbia County for 31 years and was a member of Elim Baptist Church. Janet was a faithful Christian and when she was able, enjoyed volunteering for the church. Janet enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, and sewing. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and she adored her puppy Tiny Boy.

Janet was preceded in death her parents, Oscar Rosbury and Margaret Babinec, her step-father Earl Babinec, and her baby sister Margaret Brush.

Janet is survived by her children: Patricia Gonzalez (Rene), David Gore (Michele), Terrence Babinec, and Valerie Bruner (Mark). Her grandchildren: Janelle Gonzalez, Andy Gonzalez (Kaitlin), Jacquelyn Witt (Cody), Desiree Brownell (Brandan), Chelsea Novoa, Taylor Bruner, Brandy Babinec, Anthony Babinec, Amber Bruner, Kendal Boucher, Ivy Mangrum, Oceana Babinec, Dominic Gonzalez. Her great grandchildren: Keira, Laila, Lilliana, Remy. Her siblings: Anne Davis, Dave Rosbury (Cathy), Chris Ammerman, Donnie Rosbury (Jill), Charlie Rosbury, Brother-in-law Donny Brush, Step Brother Terry Babinec, and Step-Sister Candy Palmer. She is also survived by a host of "adopted" children and grandchildren and a herd of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Elim Baptist Church in Ft. White at 11:00 AM.
