Ms. Jane Carr Henderson, 92, of Lake City died following an extended illness on Friday, September 2, 2022. Mrs. Henderson was born in Pittston, PA, and resided in Lake City since 1954. She earned a nursing degree in 1951 and was a loving, caring nurse to many. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed delivering bulletins to those unable to attend services. She was an avid sports fan and loved watching golf and her beloved Gators. She traveled the world with her husband and loved to read. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Dr, Bill Henderson.

She is survived by her daughters Margaret Busby (Chuck), Barbara (Jim) Traylor, and son Bill (Marcia) Henderson; five grandchildren Scott (Brittany)Busby, Rebecca (Robby) Murray, Jay Traylor, Andrew (Nelly) Traylor, and Mike (Meagan) Logan. She had six great-grandchildren also her beloved caregiver, Brenda Perry, whom she loved dearly and who took extraordinary care of her.

A private memorial service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Saturday, September 10, 2022. In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that you give to the First Presbyterian Church or the American Diabetes Association
