Mr. James "Loren" Singley, Sr. 90 passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at his residence following an illness. Born October 19, 1932, to Grady and Brancy Singley.  Loren was raised in Cordele, GA. And moved to Lake City, FL in 1952. Loren retired from Lake Shore Hospital after thirty years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents Grady and Brancy Peacock Singley, and his sisters Johnnie Mason, Jerry Castleberry, Marqueen Graham, and Latrell Burleson. His brothers Hubert Singley, Lee Singley, Bobby Ray Singley, and Wayne Singley. Loren Loved his family dearly and above all else.

Loren is survived by his wife Pat King Singley, Lake City, FL; one daughter Kathy Singley Ratliff (Richard) Lake City, FL two sons Jimmy Singley (Mary) Middleburg, FL, and John Singley, Lake City, FL two brothers Gene Singley (Sue) Henderson, NC, and Cliff Singley (Laverne) Americus, GA.  forty-one grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of many nieces and nephews, his best friends Doug and Kathy Moore, Wayne, and Jackie Brannon.

Graveside services for Loren will be conducted On Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 2:30 P.M. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Reverend Ralph Rodriguez officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to service at Gateway Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
