James Hamilton McCrady, IV, 84 of Lake City, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Baya Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lake City.  He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the late James H. McCrady, III and Marjorie Phillips McCrady.  Mr. McCrady had been a resident of Lake City for over 12 years moving here from Pittsburgh.  He served our country during Vietnam in the United States Coast Guard and was a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where he was a member of the Lamba Chi Fraternity.  Mr. McCrady was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Lake City.  He also served as president of the Lakeside Park Club in Richmond, VA for 8 years and was a lifetime member of N.A.P.M.  Mr. McCrady was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Stephen P. McCrady.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Evelyne [Evie] G. McCrady, Lake City; four sons, Michael Robert McCrady (Kelly), James H. McCrady, V, Christian E. McCrady and Mitchell P. McCrady (Crystal); one brother, Thomas E. McCrady (Elizabeth); sister-in-law, Michele McCrady; five grandchildren; and his first great-grandchild due in early 2025; and a host of nieces and nephews.
