Mr. James Edward Lewis, Sr., 78 of Wellborn, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019, at his home with his family at his side.  He was born in Lake City, Florida to the late Albert Chester Lewis and Lela Branch Lewis.  Mr. Lewis was a lifelong resident of Wellborn and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Andrews Lewis, in 2018.

Survivors include his children, Christina Lynn Lewis, New Braunfels, TX, Kimberly Marie Federico, Wellborn, Mary Sapp, Wellborn and James Edward Lewis, Jr., Wellborn; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild also survives.
