James Wilson "Jim" Hall, 75, of Fort White, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, February 16, 2022 at the Haven-Suwannee Valley Hospice Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. He was born in Dunbar, Virginia on October 26, 1946 to the late Ferrian R. Hall and Oma Robbins Hall. He was a US Army Paratrooper Veteran and a Trucker by trade. He has made Fort White his home since June of 2009, moving here from the West Palm Beach area and was a member of The Worship Center. In his spare time, he enjoyed racing, and tinkering with race cars with his son's and grandchildren; hunting, camping and being with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ginger Hall of Fort White; sons, Bo Hall and Dewey Hall both of Fort White; adopted-daughter, Penny Snyder of Fort White; his "fur child", Diesel of Fort White; brothers, Eddie Hall (Melanie) of Silva, NC and Buck Robbins (Nellie) of Wise, VA; sisters, Patsy Killian of NC, Oma Lee Whitaker of Georgia and Ada Hall of Silva, NC. Seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and special niece, Tina Poteat (Mike) also survive.

A funeral service for Mr. Hall will be conducted on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gateway-Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Monday evening, February 21, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
