James Lewis Dannatt, Jr., 69 of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2021 at his home.  He was born and raised in Seattle, Washington and had been a resident of Lake City for the past 35 years.  Mr. Dannatt worked for many years in the flooring industry.  He enjoyed working with his plants and spending time with his family.  Mr. Dannatt was preceded in death by his parents, James L. Dannatt, Sr. and Jack and Doris Carter; and two siblings, Wanda Dannatt and James Carter.

Survivors include his two daughters, Alicia F. Dannatt and Jasmine Dannatt, both of Lake City; four siblings, Robert Dannatt, Cliff Carter, Norma Carter and David Carter; and five grandchildren, Haley, Caleb, Tyler, Ethan and Ellie.

Private services for Mr. Dannatt will be held at a later date.
