James Kelly Blore

James Kelly Blore, affectionately known as "Fixer," passed away peacefully at his home in Fort White, Florida, on June 3, 2026. Born on April 3, 1962, in Englewood, California, Kelly lived a life marked by skill, dedication, and an unwavering passion for both his work and his wide-ranging interests.

Kelly began his professional journey as an electrician in commercial construction before transitioning his expertise to residential projects. His steadfast commitment, strong work ethic, and extensive knowledge allowed him to ascend into management with Arlington Electric. In 2019, fulfilling a long-held entrepreneurial dream, he founded his own home inspection business. With a Home Inspector's License earned that same year, Kelly seamlessly merged his seasoned construction skills with his desire to assist others, quickly establishing a respected and successful enterprise. He took great pride in his career and was deeply fulfilled by the opportunity to empower homeowners through his insight and guidance.

Kelly's educational path began after high school when he pursued training to become a Journeyman Electrician. His dedication to lifelong learning never waned; throughout his career, he continually sought to expand his expertise, embracing each new challenge with determination and enthusiasm.

Beyond his professional achievements, Kelly embraced life with remarkable zest and curiosity. He found joy in riding his Harley Davidson, savoring the liberation of the open road and the wind on his face. A passionate fisherman, he delighted in casting lines at sea, from piers, or along the shore in his later years. His love for the outdoors extended to his garden, which he lovingly transformed into a botanical oasis. In addition to his green thumb, Kelly was a beekeeper and raised and sold quail, demonstrating a nurturing spirit and a keen interest in diverse crafts. A gifted builder, he was known for his ability to fix virtually anything, often surrounded by a collection of projects awaiting his attention.

Kelly also enjoyed time at the shooting range and clay shooting, indulging his adventurous side with activities such as skydiving, rocketry, and stargazing under vast night skies. Moments shared over poker nights with neighbors were treasured, but perhaps none more so than the quiet joy of watching old cartoons with his beloved grandchildren.

After a three-year battle with dementia, Kelly's passed at home, on hospice, holding his wife's hand and spent his final days in comfort and peace.

Kelly is survived by his devoted wife, Leah Blore; his father, James Richard Blore; stepmother, Shannon Blore; stepchildren and their spouses, Jacob, Michelle, Zack, Arron, and Rose; and his four cherished grandchildren, who brought him profound happiness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dee Ann Blore; aunt, Vicki Gray; and uncle, Charles Cowan.

James Kelly Blore's life was a testament to dedication, skill, and a generous spirit. His legacy endures in the hearts of those who loved him and in the many ways he enriched the lives of family, friends, and neighbors. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
