Mr. James Edward Bass, 66, passed away on January 2, 2025, unexpectedly at his residence. James was a lifelong resident of Suwannee County. James is the son of the late Edward and Vera Smith Bass. And he enjoyed his animals and spending time with his family and friends.

James is survived by his sister Charolette Newell (Bill) Live Oak, FL; three nephews Jamy Mincks (Sam) O'Brien, FL; Brad Mincks (Brandee) O'Brien, FL and Robbie Mincks, O'Brien, FL.
